Palao under the name Ongina She was chosen as one of nine contestants on the first season of the RuPaul’s Drag Race, and was officially revealed on February 2nd on February 2, 2009. Her status was revealed as HIV positive during the fourth episode in which she took home her second win. She was eliminated in the following episode following the Lip sync “Stronger” by Britney Spears against the eventual the winner Bebe Zahara Benet. This put her fifth. She was featured on”Extra Special Edition “Extra Special Edition” mid-season recap episode alongside RuPaul.
